Weekdays at times are very tiring and when someone offers you to taste their menu on such days, its like nothing. When Reservoir Hogs, Pune offered me to taste their food at the comfort of my home last week, I just couldn’t deny. Reservoir Hog is a deliver only restaurant serving Italian, North Indian, Chinese, Burger, Pizza, and delivers in and around Kalyani Nagar.
Since we opted for dinner, we ordered Naan, Mixed Veg, Pasta Arrabiata and Strawberry Milkshake, which was delivered around 8. The packing was no fancy but in regular Aluminium foil and plastic containers, well sealed without leaks.
Pasta Arrabiata – The pasta was well cooked with a good variety of veggies which included peppers, zucchini, sweet corn, baby corn, broccoli, in red sauce topped with cheese. The quantity was good compared to American restaurant chains, but felt the sweet sour sauce was bit on Indian taste.
Naan and Mixed Vegetables – Naan was soft, topped with black sesame and the size was quite big. The mixed vegetables was medium spicy in brown gravy with good blend of veggies and gravy. Paneer tasted the best in its form, I don’t prefer Mushrooms especially in vegetable gravies, that was the best for me for not having mushrooms in it.
Strawberry milk shake – I was bit disappointed with Strawberry milkshake. Its one of my favourites and I like it in its thick consistency. This was thin and watery, with milk taking over the flavour of strawberry.
Average Cost for 2 people – Rs. 600/-(Excluding taxes)
All-in-all a good value for money with a variety to offer, they serve Non-Vegetarian as well if I missed. Yes, I would like to order again on days when I am in no mood to get out of the house or just when I am craving for restaurant food.
