Daftar Goregaon – A casual dining place, known for its Wood-fired pizza, Tandoor, Continental and Chinese cuisine, is located in Goregaon East near Nirlon Knowledge Park at a walkable distance of 850m from Ram Mandir Station East. The owners of this café are gourmets who have travelled across the country and have feasted on the plethora of flavours from different states hence I naturally expected a delectable serving from the restaurant and I must say it was extremely fulfilling in the end.
The attractive lanterns on the outside caught our attention as we entered the restaurant on a Sunday evening and were immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They presented us with the menu which was divided into 13 categories giving a wide variety of choices to choose from, which essentially makes it a great place to dine in along with your friends and family.
Ambience:
The place is well lit with lanterns, hexagon shaped LEDs and a series of jigsaw pipes with bulbs at the end. The contemporary style of décor gives a modern vibe to the place with eye-catching quote on the right wall of the entrance. It has a Café like set-up with both indoor as well as outdoor seating available with live sports screening on the inside. The sitting place is well-managed keeping in mind the privacy of the patrons while having a conversation. There are board games like UNO, Snakes and Ladders, Ludo etc which the patrons can enjoy playing while having a toothsome pizza.
Service:
This place is welcoming and the staff members were friendly and warm. The staff was courteous enough to recommend the dishes according to our preference by giving us various options in non-spicy tandoor, and main course. The service was prompt except when we ordered sizzlers, which in a way takes a little while to make and was worth the wait. Also, the glass of water was immediately filled as soon as it was low. Overall, the service was pleasant.
Food:
1) Ajwain Paneer Tikka
It was the most delicious Ajwain Paneer Tikka I’ve tasted in the longest while. The ingredients were well marinated and the paneer was grilled in right proportion causing it to melt in the mouth, literally! This lip-smacking dish is highly recommended.
2) Cottage Cheese Sizzler
The scrumptious sizzler was the highlight of the whole dining experience. The saute of all the veggies was precisely done. The well-cooked rice and the soft paneer bathed in piquant garlic sauce, screamed perfection. Cottage Cheese Sizzler is easily on top of the must have list at Daftar.
3) Veg Chefs Pizza
The Sr. 12 inched wood-fired pizza was pretty average. The toppings consisting of bell peppers, onion, mozzarella cheese and paneer were well in place except for the crust which was burnt on the sides making it tough to chew. I suggest to go for Veggie Daftar pizza instead.
4) Vanilla Shake
They had a variety of shakes in which we tried the Vanilla Shake. It was heavenly and extremely well-prepared. The blend was thick, yummy and will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth.

They have ‘offer of the season’ going on in which you get selected dishes at a discounted rate. Also, happy hours from 4-7 PM is currently taking place in which you get 20% off on the entire bill.
