Disney Magical Kingdom – Top 10 Attractions

Disney Magic Kingdom is the most visited theme park in the world.
In my recent trip I got a chance to visit this world famous amusement park and I bet I was in a fantasy world.

Even if you are an adult like me, this dreamland has got everything to keep you glued.
Every attraction has its own story, unique concept, innovative presentation, superb animations and special effects.

Here I present to you the top 10 attractions of Magic Kingdom which you can’t afford to miss.

1. Splash Mountain
   This is probably the best ride of Magic Kingdom located in Frontierland.
   That descend from 50 foot high hill, right into the pool of water at a speed around 50 km/h is just outstanding. Also during the ascend there are lot of twists and turns which will keep you entertained.

2. Haunted Mansion
   This is the best haunted attraction I have seen till date.
   Located in Liberty Square, the haunted mansion building is huge making the guests more excited about the things inside. Everything about this place is just amazing, right from the moment you enter the mansion till the time you get down from those awesome doombuggies and take the exit.

3. Jungle Cruise
   It is ranked as the top attraction of Adventureland.
   The best part of this attraction is that it is so real and natural and you actually get a feel to be in the middle of a jungle. Right from waterfalls, tribal people dancing, animals enjoying in their natural habitat, especially the baby elephants shooting water at us is just phenomenal.

4. Small World
   This colorful world is liked my people from every walk and phase of life. It is a ride which is part of Fantasyland. It features over 300 attractive dolls depicting different cultures around the world. The message of peace and humanity given through this attraction is commendable.

5. Pirates of the Caribbean
   Situated in Adventureland this attraction is themed on the movie series, Pirates of the Caribbean. Mermaids, dead pirates, wrecked ships, dialogues and sound effects from the movie and at last Jack Sparrow sitting in his room will refresh all your memories about the movie.

6. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
   It is a mine train roller coaster. The tracks are built around the rocks in such a way that appears very natural & original. The ride takes place completely in the sagging, rotting tunnels of the mountain. It is completely a thrilling experience.

7. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
   Another amazing steel roller coaster ride is Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
   The ride is based on the movie, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
   It is fast and the animatronics are just top notch. Also the mine scene is superb.

8. Space Mountain
   Space Mountain is an indoor outer space theme roller coaster ride.
   The ride happens in dark with lots of twists and turns and is high on animatronics.
   Definitely worth a try for a new experience.

9. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
   It is a shooting ride which is based on movie, Toy Story 2.
   The guests are made to sit in a vehicle which can fit in 2 and is equipped with laser guns.
   There is also a joystick which provides 360 degree rotation.
   Various targets carrying different points show up during the ride which have to be hit by the laser gun. At the end of the ride a digital score flashes on the screen.

10. Enchanted Tiki room
    Between Peter Pan flight and Enchanted Tiki room I will suggest you to go for Enchanted Tiki room for its outstanding animatronics. I just loved the presentation which features a cast of over 150 talking, singing and dancing birds, flowers, magic fountains, tiki poles and drummers.The whole atmosphere is so lively, beautiful and a pleasure to your eyes.
