Spice it restaurant: A must try at Ibis Gugaon

IMG_20170610_135544

It all comes back to the basics. Serve customers the best-tasting food at a great value in a clean, comfortable environment, and they’ll keep coming back. The rules are simple but worth following. And believe me, the results are what it needs to be the best in the competition. Recently, R4review visited one such place which is above the set standards in its segment. And it is the “Spice it” at Ibis, Gurugram. It’s the restaurant of a 3-star property located just next to the Rapid Metro Station. So you can comfortably reach there without experiencing the drastic traffic condition of the city. About the place The Ibis Gurgaon Golf Course Road Hotel is one of the most popular economy properties for business and leisure. This 3-star hotel is in the vicinity of Airport, Shopping centres and some of

Joos Food – A Revelation for food lovers

Joos

Joos is a digital brand – keen to take Indian cuisine to a whole new level with a punch. I went there with no expectation thinking of food which would be just average but I was proved wrong. The ambiance of the place was not so great but the taste of food compensated that. This food tasting session had many Indian-Western fusion dishes like Butter chicken spaghetti, Panner chili pasta, Kurkure bhel, Sheek kebab salad, Bhjjia kebab and it took me with a surprise. Each dish was unique and like never tasted before, especially sheek kebab salad and kurkure bhel. Kurkure bhel was crispy with a perfect blend of kurkure with Indian bhel making this chat the best snack I had ever had. Sheek kebab salad was different from conventional salads and fusion salads I had before. Sheek was so tender, mild

Gaga over Papa Buns

IMG_7719

I had no idea what to expect at the pizza festival at Papa Buns. Visiting for the first time, I ordered a little some of the most interesting things on the menu which I can happily say turned out to be a good experiment. The place is compact but cute. The use of space is efficient and the booths are spacious yet have a cosy feel to them. The posters were the most fun and I couldn’t resist taking pictures of all of them. As for food, I began with a choice of tarts: caramel and chocolate, and they were both gooey deliciousness. The tarts were followed by Bunny Chow Chicken Korma which is a very interesting dish where the korma was served in a hollowed out half loaf of bread. It tasted almost as good as it looked. Then

Le Creuset Lavishness

IMG_7626

Lavish was the first word which came to my mind as I entered the Le Creuset store in Ambience Mall, Gurgaon. The occasion was Mother’s Day and the event was an Interactive Cooking demonstration with Masterchef India Season 5 Fame Mirvaan Vinayak and Sadaf Hussain. On arrival, we were handed out the recipes of the dishes that the chefs were making. The event began with a few words from Mr Ankit, head of Operations, India for Le Creuset, about the brand. The French cutlery brand which has an absolutely stunning array of crockery is durable, gorgeous and best of all can also be used to cook. Another perk is that a majority of their products are under guarantee so you won’t shy away from experimenting in the kitchen, specially useful for the newly wed brides. The table was set with

Review: Desi Deli Bandra Mumbai

DSC_0276

Located on the popular Chapel Road opposite Salt Water Cafe, Desi Deli is a cutesy little cafe setup which dishes out the most delectable desi-style fast food we have ever had the opportunity of sampling. Right from their hot dogs to their burgers, everything is gourmet level! Also, it is one of the few places we’ve encountered where vegan food is readily available without any compromise on the taste factor! And this, my friends, we speak of after critically relishing their vegan offerings. In fact, the vegan dessert was the dessert everyone at R4Review savoured within seconds of it appearing on the table. In short, Desi Deli is one of those restaurants which can be labelled as Chota Packet Bada Dhamaka. Ambience Adorned with charming seating and fresh flowers, the ambience of Desi Del screams playfulness and makes itself known

Mr. Browns – The eatery beyond Breads !!!

IMG_20170429_175531

It was a pleasant day of North Indian Summer and Noida was all happy about it. I just got a invite for a Mr. Browns visit at Indrapuram opposite shipra sun city , A new venture that has added to the already huge markets that have been there since I lived there in 2012. The thing that makes it apart though is the location which is right across the main road before you just take a left from NH24. It is a small but a crowded place with just 5-6 shops and Mr. Brown attracting most of the crowd from couples to kids to Older people. The shop is also very neatly organized with everything available from Sandwich to a Pizza to a Bread, cookies and Pastries. They also had variety of cakes available and also have a party Hall

Rule the Rolls

IMG_20170422_200725

Rule the Rolls is an amazing new branch of Khan Chacha brought all the way from Delhi to Gurgaon to feed to Food-a -holic among us. It has these amazing tasting rolls with all the Mughlai Names. The menu looks tempting enough to be brought up to among masses. The look and feel of the Mughlai traditional posters are just add ons to the Sammak(fish), Luffa(Rools) and Lahm(mutton). Honey web shaped flooring and Moroccon lights are just flaboulously describing the struggle and sweetness brought in by hard work. The must try on are- Haleem and Chicken Tikka rolls. Moti Mahal delux: the Tandoori Trail

DSC_0210

“Dinner is not what you do in the evening before something else. Dinner is the evening.” – Art Buchwald It is said that as the Japanese live to work, Indians live to eat. After all Indians are known as food-a-holics. The team r4review is no exception. Last weekend, we were invited to dine at “Moti Mahal delux” (Palava City outlet), the innovator of the tandoori trail in India, and we were all set to serve our taste buds with the different kind of delicacies offered by them. The name “Moti Mahal” is meld of the words “moti” and “mahal” which mean a palace made of pearls. And at this fine restaurant, you will definitely feel like being in a palace of tongue-embellishing pearls. Known for its special tandoori menu and taste, it offers to the diners, a mix of lip-smacking
